In 2020 we faced a deadly pandemic, civil unrest and protests against racial injustice, a contentious election and total economic upheaval that made many people feel more divided than ever. This fund was established to meet the needs of Evolenteers who are face challenging situations and find themselves in need of a helping hand. When you make a gift to the Evolent Cares Employee Fund, you are helping fellow Evolenteers to recover from times of crisis or personal disaster. Your donation makes a direct and lasting impact on the lives of those affected by hardship.

U.S. based employees can contribute to the Employee Cares Fund in two ways: through direct giving (above) or through payroll deductions in Workday. Click here for Workday payroll election instructions.

Can I designate my contribution to a specific employee?
While gifts cannot be designated for a specific individual or event, they do guarantee funds are available to provide assistance to employees in need who meet the criteria of the program.
Are my gifts to the fund tax-deductible? Will I get a statement at the end of the year?
Donations by U.S. taxpayers to the Employee Relief Fund administered by E4E Relief may be tax-deductible, provided no goods or services were received in exchange for the donation and to the extent permitted by law. A gift acknowledgment will be provided for all gifts, $250 or more, made directly to the Employee Relief Fund via E4E Relief. To claim contributions made via payroll deductions, U.S. donors should retain their pledge/sign-up form along with their final paystub or W-2 reflecting the deductions. For non-U.S. donors, please check with your local tax preparer for any determination of deductibility.
Do I need to give to be eligible to apply for assistance from the Relief Fund?
Gifts to the Relief Fund are voluntary and are not required to apply for assistance.
Can I make a gift if I am not an Evolenteer?
Yes! If you are not an Evolenteer please reach out directly to E4E Relief Donor Services at 704-973-4564 or email@example.com.
